Some wedding days feel like they could have been scripted — but not this one.
From the minute we arrived, it felt like the world had cracked open just a little wider for them. The breeze coming off the ocean in the distance. The sound of old friends greeting each other like no time had passed. The way Michelle’s smile stretched across the whole room before she even walked down the aisle.
We didn’t set scenes. We didn’t ask for do-overs. We just followed. The film we made isn’t about poses or perfect lighting. It’s about the way Matt couldn’t stop checking over his shoulder to catch a glimpse of Michelle. It’s the way their friends wrapped them up in bear hugs before the day even started. It’s the first look down the iconic stairs of the cellar–perfect moments and memories.
When we’re filming, we’re not looking for ‘the shot’. We’re looking for the way the day feels when nobody’s watching.

It’s the kind of film you don’t watch — you fall into it. You can almost smell the salt in the air, hear the scrape of chairs on the deck as the sun slid lower, feel the build-up before the first beat dropped and the dance floor caught fire.
We’re so proud of how their story came together — not because it’s polished, but because it’s real. Every glance, every side conversation, every busted-up pair of shoes by the end of the night. That’s what matters. That’s what lasts.
