Meet the Team of Ever After Effect: Leah, Alex, Lauren & Cassandra. We’re the ones behind the scenes, quietly moving chairs, pouring wine, lighting candles that’ll burn into the early hours. A mix of caterers, stylists, planners, and photographers—drawn together by a shared love of good food, better stories, and days that don’t follow a script.

We don’t do cookie-cutter, one that suits all. What we do is get to know you—what makes you laugh, what kind of chaos you thrive in—and build a wedding around that. Every detail, considered. Every moment, earned.

We’re based on the Mornington Peninsula, but we’ll follow the good times wherever they lead.

Leah, Founder of Ever After Effect & Co-Owner of Epicurean Group:
Leah’s been in the event industry for two decades. A seamless event takes more than good taste—it takes grit, instinct, and a serious love for bringing people together. As one of the driving forces behind The Epicurean Group, she’s spent years turning big ideas into nights that flow like they were meant to be. With a sharp eye for detail and a calm head when it counts, Leah’s the one making sure everything looks beautiful and actually works. Under her lead, Ever After Effect creates events that feel deeply personal—with great food. She’s here to raise the bar, build real connections, and make sure your wedding feels like the best kind of reflection: yours.

Alex, Head of Planning: has spent over a decade behind the scenes, bringing weddings and events to life with a calm confidence that makes it all look easy. With Italian roots and a deep appreciation for sprezzatura—that unspoken art of making things feel effortless—Alex strikes the balance between precision and flow. He’s a planner, yes, but never rigid. Every detail is considered, every moment allowed to breathe. From first idea to final toast, he’s there to guide you through it all—blending his background in hospitality and event management to make sure everything feels natural, seamless, and unmistakably you.

Lauren, Partner & Head of Floristry: With a powerhouse team of floral stylists and over 50 years of experience between them, Lauren McIntosh is the mind—and hands—behind the blooms. She’s not just arranging flowers. She’s building moments. Sculpting colour & texture with every stem. Known for bold, expressive floral concepts, Lauren designs each piece to reflect the couple at the centre of it all—never off-the-shelf, always intentional. Every petal has a purpose. Every installation tells a story. She’s the reason your flowers won’t just be admired—they’ll be remembered.

Cassandra, Partner & Head of Creative: Cass has been capturing weddings for over 12 years—long enough to know when to step in, when to step back, and when the real magic happens. Her work’s been seen in places like Vogue Australia, but it’s the quiet moments that matter most to her—the ones that don’t need staging to feel cinematic. She leads a tight-knit team of creatives with an easy, honest approach. Nothing forced. Nothing overdone. Just real moments. Rooted in her Greek heritage, Cass brings a warm, artful perspective—refined where it matters, playful where it counts. From first chats to final photographs, she and Leah are with you the whole way through.
