A beautiful Ripponlea Estate Wedding: Sarah & Tom got married at Ripponlea Estate in Melbourne in 2020. Ripponlea Estate is a lovely location for your Melbourne Garden Wedding, as the backdrop of the mansion is so whimsical and classic, it suits any traditional and modern wedding couples style. This was very special as I worked with the Tori Allen Team.

2020 was the year of worldwide lockdowns and mayhem. We didn’t know what we had ahead, and nor did Sarah & Tom, or their guests… for it would be the last wedding they attended in a while! This was the last wedding I photographed before the world went into lockdown. Makes it more memorable, and I love looking back at these photographs.

I was lucky enough to be chosen as Sarah & Tom’s Wedding Photographer. Sarah’s family were so accomodating as I arrived to her doorstep, I remember her mum and dad took me through a tour of the house and I got to enjoy Sarah’s family album photos. Sarah got ready at her family home with her sisters, cousins and friends, all whom were in the bridal party. Tom opted not to get preparation photos, which a lot of my couples prefer to miss. I feel it’s a personal choice and I don’t mind either ways a photographer I always go by what my couples want to do. I don’t force anything, or push for anything, this includes when we are taking portraits.

Sarah & Tom’s love story was so easy, fun & enjoyable to document and it made it more special when Tom saw Sarah down the aisle, for his nerves were an ultimate high. I worked with Tori Allen, the incredible team behind the Planning, Styling, Floral Arrangements and Management.
